Moving (back) to AZ!

A job transfer I've been hoping for finally came through today! :biggrinbounce: I can't wait to get back to civilization and more wheeling opportunities! :yup: I hope to be out that way in a couple weeks to look for a house. We should be moved in the first or second week of November.

I lived in the Tucson and surrounding area for about 7 years before. I didn't have a Jeep back then so I am really looking forward to this. The family and I are ecstatic! :celebrate:

It will likely be the Sierra Vista area. My wife and I have old friends there and she loved it there before. I was indifferent because the desert hadn't gotten into this Hoosier's blood yet. I am fully hooked now and realized we had it pretty good there. I was down that way about a year ago and couldn't believe how much it had grown!

Welcome back!!! You'll be getting here at the right time to enjoy the next seven months before it warms ups again! There are a few WayaLifers down in that area, 'uncensored aggression' is down the road in Douglas. Good luck on the move. :thumb:

Cool. I used to live down near Yuma. I miss playing in the desert.

I'm sure the trails in CO are amazing. But, you're right, there's something about the desert that gets in your blood.

Thanks! So much to do but really looking forward to it.

So close to finally meeting, and now this! Congratulations man. Good luck out there.

I know! Thanks! The whole family is ready and excited.

Congrats! We just moved to Sahuarita from Commiefornia. Really enjoying it down here so far!

Nice! Congrats on escaping! I love visiting family in SoCal, but hated living there. That's not too far at all! My last house was in Corona de Tucson, near Houghton and Sahaurita Roads. Hope to get a trip put together after the dust settles.

Awesome! Hope to wheel with you soon. I'm originally from Tucson and I still have family there but now I'm up in the Phoenix area. The Phoenix jeep meets get pretty big (I think 2 meets have been over 200 jeeps).

That sounds good!

Sounds great! When I lived in AZ before, I thought it was so far to drive from Sierra Vista to Tucson or Phoenix or Corona de Tucson to Phoenix. After living in west Texas for the past two years, those drives are nothing to me! I've said it before I know, but currently we drive between 4-9 hours round trip to get groceries or see a doc, depending on where we go or what we need to do. It also generally burns up at least one of my days off to do that when the kids are in school. I could ramble on with excitement, but will refrain.

That's a long ways to go to the store. You must pack the groceries on dry ice
