Eric,

Might I inquire what kind of price you are willing to pay?

I want to know because I plan to replace a front axle on a 2016 Rubicon in the Spring. I doubt you can wait that long, but I was just curious if you cannot.

Welcome from Bend, I just sold a front! :( Plan on spending $1300+. Good luck with your find!

I was hoping to spend around a thousand not including possible shipping. Will consider more depending on the axle. A 2016 Rubi axle falls under that.

We bought a physically challenged Jeep. Poor thing has only one pumpkin. I figured if the Six Million Dollar Man can be upgraded so can my Jeep. Will start a thread of its journey to man hood.

I know this is out of your price your looking to spend but may I suggest getting a dynatrac pro rock 44. A rubicon front axle is only a d44 in name and not a true d44 like your rear axle. It shares the same tubes and knuckles as the d30. This means it will still bend at the pumpkin. If you spend the 5kish on a built pr44 you get bigger and stronger tubes, knuckles, housing, and ring and pinion.

While I agree with you, my wallet does not. I would like to get the rig a front pumpkin ASAP. If i wait until funds are available for a Dynatrac 44 other upgrades will be waiting in line for some time.

I do appreciate the advice, though. This is my first jeep, so advice on mods/upgrades is definitely welcome.

In about 4 to 5 months I may have mine available, it's from an 08 with 95k miles on it, mostly highway, but it has some wear and tear from the occasional venture offroad. It has new ball joints with only 1.5k miles on them and fresh oil in the pumpkin, locker is operational. Looking for like 700, plus shipping on it. Located up in ND. Let me know if you are interested.

There is a 44 out of 13 Rubicon with housing, 4.10, rubilocker, and shafts. It don't have a yoke or brakes for $850 with 3000 miles on it. It is located in San Diego.

Not sure what shipping would be. Im sure that the brakes would be fairly cheap. Might be an option if you don't want the PR44 yet. I stress yet.

EDIT: Just seen Stalters offer, that's prob better!
