How do you like it?

well i kind of had to settle for it because no other air intake i was looking into would take the discount code i had. i got it installed last night and i would say I'm not that impressed. I knew going into the buy there isn't a noticeable performance gain for an aftermarket air intake. but i really was just looking to get something that had a nice sound to it. However.... i am not impressed with the sound. there is little to no difference in this while i drive normal. but when i really step on it.... i still don't know if i can hear a difference or if its myself telling me there is so i can feel better about it. Im not to worried about it since i got it for a great price. however, would not recommend it if your really looking for roar to the engine.

Lol he got it 8 hours ago. You really think he has an opinion yet? Not only that it's an air intake. Not much to report about.
True. I wish i could at least report it sounds like im driving a V8 now. But sadly, no, i can't even report there is a better sound to my engine. It sounds the same or maybe even more quiet.

This is what I got today. I am very impressed with its performance. Much faster airing up than I had expected. Nice piece of kit.

Rockers from Crawler Conceptz came in over the weekend, when I was out Deer Hunting. Not a bad thing to come home to. Oh my wife and kids are pretty good as well.[emoji1]

Evo Rock Skins showed up at my door yesterday! :)

On another note, can anyone link me to a good write up on these? I've been told their isn't much to them. The hardest part is just drilling that first hole.. but any help/advice is always appreciated.

I have a few pics and comments in my build thread. The biggest piece of advice I got when I did mine was "GET THE NUTSERT TOOL!!" And boy am I glad I did. It made the install so much smoother. I could not even imagine doing it without it.

Also, what I found worked best for marking/drilling holes was to place the skin on the Jeep, mark one hole (I chose to do it near the center pillar). Pull the skin down, drill it and install the nutsert. Now put the skin back up and screw in a screw into the first nutsert. Now, with the skin right where you want it, mark a hole near the front. Pull the skin down and drill that hole along with install the nutsert. Finally, put the skin back up and use two screws to hold it in place. Feel free at this point just to drill right through the open holes on the skin, using them as a guide.

Hole alignment is pretty critical, so take your time.

Good luck and post up some pics once you get them on!
