Bead lock Weld on kits??

I'm looking to by steel rims and a bead lock weld on kit I'm just wondering do they balance good how do they drive on street? Anyone have experience with them?

I ran them 15 years ago...they worked lol. Not the safest, balance depends on centering. I would almost say buy a little narrower wheel and don't do the bead lock. With a narrow wheel and wider tire you are way less likely to blow a bead...even at 8psi.

My Plan was to run 37*13.5 on 17*8 steel rims with 1.5in spacers would that work with a the weld on kit keep in mind this is a daily driver weekend crawler.

I wouldn't do it...

Everyone I know with Steel beadlocks can't drive over 45 for more than 30 minutes without the lugs or beadlock ring getting loose. Most of these Jeeps are trailer queens so it doesn't matter to them.

I would rather run that set up without the beadlock rings than with them. My opinion is you would be way happier overall. Based on your daily driver aspect. Save up for some slabs, chambers, spyderlocks, etc if beadlocks are that important.
