If I remember correctly, there is a great camping spot just past the river, maybe a mile. I don't know about good camp spots beyond that. Last time I was going through that area I was doing 55!

I figure we just start wheeling and we will find the spot when we feel it's right... I want to get to at least the river of course. With the group we have going I don't think that will be an issue.
