Checking in from NC

Hello everyone! My name is Kyle and I'm from eastern NC. This is my first interaction with wayalife but I have owned Jeeps my entire life (only 25) and spent most of my online time over at other forums. I was browsing through Youtube one afternoon and found the JKX videos and have been checking out this site ever since. Anyways, I just purchased an unlimited rubicon and the pile of parts is starting to come in now so I thought there was no better time than now to start my time on Wayalife. I guess as a welcoming introduction I'll show some pictures of my past Jeeps as well as my new project.

First up were my WJs. The blue was my mom's first jeep that I purchased from her when I turned 18. Had about 6" of lift on a long arm setup from IRO. The black was my DD at the time and had the 4.7 H.O. with some go-fast goodies.

Next came my first Wrangler. She was an 01 Sahara with 4" lift, 8.8 rear, and 33s. I loved how simple this jeep was and of course the interior colors were awesome!

After the Sahara came my first JK. She was an X with the 6speed, Band-Aid d30 in the front and d44 rear, 2.5" RK, 35s and some bumpers. This was my first time spending the money to try and create a jeep with a color scheme. I had all the armor and fenders sandblasted and powdercoated. I'll most likely be going the color scheme route on my new Rubi but will probably stick with the rattle cans. Much cheaper and easier to repair if banged up.

I sold my JK for a WK2. This was my 2015 Altitude. 4x4, tow package, all the goodies. This jeep was freaking sweet and a real joy to drive around but never really felt like a jeep to me. I found a dealership that wanted it more than I did so I traded her in for my new Rubi.

And here is the Rubi. Probably will name her something with Rubi in the title as I remember growing up thinking how cool it would be to have a set of those hood stickers and now I finally have them. I took her up to the mountains last weekend on a snowboard trip. I finally feel like I am back in a jeep again!

Thanks! A little late on the reply but I appreciate the comments. I'm looking forward to our upcoming Uwharrie ride and getting to meet some of the WAYALIFE members.

Sadly I'm not too explain
1: I don't have a Jeep yet hope to get one soon but we know how life goes
2: I'm not able to take time off work because we currently don't have another employ to run the lab to which I am supervisor of

Thank you for asking I really am pushing to go on a WAYALIFE run one of these days everything just has to fall into place

That's a bummer man. You are definitely on the right path by doing all of the research you can up here before you get into a Jeep. Could save you a lot of money and headaches in the long run.

Thanks bro I have been wanting a Jeep for over 5 years and I have been writing down my build on paper and have changed it countless times this forum has been a big help in my build even though it's on paper
There's a lot of great people up here to ask Jeep advice on parts and trails were all kinda like family up here
