Grill running lights

Any info/pictures/wiring schematics would be greatly appreciated, I am wanting to wire up 2, 24" LED strip lights inside my grill, and wire them up to my running lights. They will be amber in color to match the parking lights and give a more factory look. I was thinking one strip up top, and one on the bottom of the grill shining towards eachother to illuminate my radiator and glow amber to look as if my grill was glowing the same color as my running lights. Does anybody think this will work the way I'm expecting, or have any comments/suggestions? Thanks ahead of time!

You should make friends with a trucker, specifically a cattle hauler. They'll teach all there is to know about "chicken lights".

ohh yeah rolling Christmas trees we use to call them. as for amber LEDs in the grill it should be an easy install just tap into one of the amber lights in the grill and run your strip.
