So i just got my EVO DL flip kit in the mail and i was laying stuff out to get ready for the install. I called and confirmed that you are supposed to put the factory rear sway bar links in the front. I did my lift (RK 3.5" X-Factor) over 2 years ago and dont have my original sway bar links anymore. dealership and auto zone wants $35 each for new ones or i thought about trying to find some used ones ppl took off but havent found a set close to me yet. then looking at the drivers side extension bracket i thought maybe is is possible to just buy 1 new factory sway bar link and not put in the drivers side extension bracket just run my extended RK one? The drivers side extension bracket isnt adding strength to anything just extra height for the shorter sway bar link... i think...
Just spitballing an idea here. passenger side running the new bought dealership sway bar link on the track bar relocation bracket. Driver side omit the sway bar extension bracket and run my RK extended one. Im no mechanical engineer here but essentially they are still attached to the same point on the axle and as long as i adjust the RK one to make the sway bar even on both sides it should work right??? idk anyone out there think that should work or is it just a dumb idea??
