So I sold my Rubi wheels/tires today and I got cash that's burning a hole in my pocket

My to do list as follows...in no particular order.

PSC rear bumber/tire carrier
PSC rocker knockers
PSC narrow crusher flares or Metalcloak fenders.
Drive shafts
CB radio

This is how the jeep looks right now.

I have around $1500 to play with...help me make a decision.

And the reason I'm sticking to mostly PSC stuff is because I already opened that can of worms by purchasing the Brawler lite bumper lol

Here's what I would do with that list.

Poison Spyder Jk Rock Brawler rear bumper/tire carrier from Northridge4x4 (shackles and antena mount)
CB Radio: your choice
CB Antena: your choice, preferably firestick
Fenders: Cut them

Bumper: $1210.46
CB Radio/Antena: $125
Fenders: $10 (six pack)

TOTAL: 1345.46

Save a few hundred more and get a front drive shaft.

If I had a choice I would get weld on sliders over the Rocker Knockers and that would replace the bumper. That would leave me enough to get the drive shaft at the same time.

You may want to think extra hard on the MetalCloak fenders, especially in the humid climate you live in. They are prone to rust eventhough they are powder coated. It has also been said that sub structure damage is a possibility should they take a hard hit, this increases with narrow or stock axles without spacers. I'm not telling you this as a hater as I run them on my own rig. Just be forewarned of what to expect from them and keep a can of paint handy, lol.

Appreciate the advice! I might stay away from them because they cost a little more than PSC as well. And I don't like mixing brands if I don't have too. That's just personal preference. I know lots of guys who mix different fenders and bumper brands...to each their own!

I rarely give opinions, by I echo this. Last weekend I slid sideways into a tree on the trail. Terrible noise, my stomach dropped. I thought I was in for a couple hundred $ when I got home. Pulled away sliding on the tree and my stock fender popped back. Got home, used goo gone on the sap and it literally disappeared. It was folded flat against the tub in the trail and you'd never be able to tell me which fender. +1 vote for cut stockers.

What about MCE fenders...supposed to be pretty flexible. I don't see a lot of people with them.

I'm not a big fender cutting fan...once again just my preference.

But I might do it just to hold me over until I can afford better fenders.

No experience with them but heard great things. Depending on how you wheel, having ability for it to pop back is a plus.

I would cut the factory, you might just like them. If not satisfied, the mce look good. I'd rather run those than bushwacker.

You can almost cut the factory just like the mce fenders. I think noroad did some like that. Looks good.

Look at Youngfire's posts in the "what was done to your rig this week thread". She cut her fenders wide, leaving some of the side lip and keeping a full look much like the MCE fenders. I really like the MCE fenders but im going to try and cut my fenders first and hopefully save $600.
