Hello, friends and fellow Jeepophils.
Giving a wave from the heart of the Texas Panhandle ... the part squeezed between Oklahoma and New Mexico.
I'm a 57-year-old married, soon-to-be retired professor that has always had a love of Jeeps. I bought my first one new the first time I saw it and have never looked back. It was a 1978 CJ5, Cinnamon Red and with not top or roll bar. LOL My second one was a Black and chrome 1985 CJ-7. My next Jeep was a 1992 Cherokee Sport. Next was a 1978 CJ-5 that I did a complete rotisserie restoration on. I put a Cadillac Red paint job on her and she was powered by a Chevy 350 crate motor ... she was a peach !!!
My current project is a Black 2010 Rubicon Unlimited. I've done a few things to her this week and next Thursday a friend of mine and I are lifting her 4" Old Man Emu suspension lift and I'm putting 37" BFG Mud Terrains on Friday. I will post some pictures after the tires ton on. Next month ... new axle splines and tubes.
I just found this site yesterday morning and have already spent about 4 hours reading. GREAT SITE. I'm glad to be here.
