Caught the Bug
So I needed to get to Cabelas this weekend for some new hunting gear. Decided I wanted to to take the family and head over one of the local trails which I've yet to run all the way through. Nothing like turning a 30 minute drive into a 4+ hour adventure. Our friends LoPo and Alex agreed to come along. With the weather we've been having the last couple of days, it was likely what would otherwise be an uneventful drive into something else. Here are some pictures I took along the way.

Aired down and ready to roll out.

LoPo making his way up a short hill climb at the start with Alex behind.

Hmmm? Looks like we might get some weather.

Heading on up.

Getting into the trees.

Uh oh. A hot oil light on LoPo's rig had us doing a little inspection and waiting for things to cool down a bit.

Is it starting to snow?

Yep, but it's not sticking.

Obligatory side mirror shot.

Hunter Lake. It's a dry lake.

Little bridge/water crossing.

More below.
