Let's see your Jeepin Life Timeline

ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1406569840.558985.jpg bought this first with the intention of building it. I fixed the brakes, fresh tune up and oil change then while driving it home I sold it for more than I paid. Went a few months but had that itch. Bought a 2014 Rubicon with bumpers and a winchImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1406569968.609286.jpg
The next steps were to make it beastly or at least start down that never ending roadImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1406570020.100776.jpgImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1406570035.533599.jpgImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1406570049.295376.jpgImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1406570077.417898.jpgnow I just need to go wheeling during the day so I don't look like the ultimate mall crawler

Well for me the Jeep thing started late I was 23 when I got my first jeep. It was a 97 TJ that I had paint Tangerine Green(flip from orange to green) I miss that jeep like no other. Soon after that I purchased a XJ with a 5.5" lift it was locked and had 33's I beat the tar out of that thing I soon sold it for a 2006 TJ 65. The TJ was stock when I got it but I eventually lifted and locked it and armored it up and hit the trails. I ended up selling that for a 2 door Jk (dumb move on my part) it stayed stock for 6 months and got traded in for a 2012 Mitsubishi Evo X GSR I kept the Evo for 6 months and traded it in on a 2013 Shelby. I kept the Shelby for a year and traded it off for my current JK. It's a 2014 JKU Sport that we lifted and put 35's on. It cost me a lot of money and 4 years (I'm 27 now) to realize that I belong in a Jeep and I'll never buy any other vehicle View attachment 93441View attachment 93442View attachment 93443View attachment 93444View attachment 93445View attachment 93446

I did the same thing, dabbling in muscle cars for a while. It was a lot of fun, and a lot of money. Never buying anything other than a jeep again. This is what I was rocking for a few years: 11 camaro SS, full bolt ons, forgestar wheels, shit ton of cosmetic mods.

Sweet looking Camaro.

Sweet looking Camaro.

She was a looker.

I equate my camaro ownership experience to that of a bad relationship with a girl, but had great sex: driving it and looking at it was amazing. But keeping it spotless, worrying about door dings, road bumps, losing my license because going from 60 to 140 took no time.... Then fixing all the electrical problems that I had with it...

Had to break up with her :)

People don't get it when I tell them I'm happier to have my jeep.

Man I know what you mean! I was buying tires for my Shelby every couple months. I went through 8 sets in a year. My Shelby put down 908 on the tire and for a DD it was a bit much. It was for sure the "dirty girl" of the bunch.

This is a cool thread, here's mine.

Good god 908 rwhp? I would have died. LOL I didn't have a blower, but was putting down about half that and melting 500 dollar a pop rear tires like nothing. Shelby is a sick car. Buddy of mine had a 2010 and it was fuuuun to drive.

No, its not a jeep but those old Toyota Land Cruisers were awesome. I remember my older sister had a boyfriend in high school who had an old beat up Land Cruiser. It looked like crap but you couldn't get it stuck, we used to wheel it all the time. Come to think of it he may have been the reason I got into wheeling in the first place. I got love for the Land Cruisers too.

Yeah, that thing was great. Wish we would have kept it.

Here's mine, got my first Jeep, a 2000 TJ in high school. Then after college I bought a '12 Rubicon 2 door, and my current Jeep which I got bout 4 months ago is my Rubi Unlimited X. My favorite one :)

That's awesome Coz. Gotta start somewhere and you're pretty dang far along. Im a sucker for red. My current jeep is the first vehicle out of many that wasn't some shade of red. I'm a sucker for red.

thanks man! yea its been 3 years in the making and im VERY happy with it. Red is my favorite color so it was an easy choice to get red over something else.

Yea I went with the Billet and I'm really digging it. But it was an impulse buy. If I'd known I'd be buying another jeep that day I probably woulda looked around for a Red Lobster (I love it) or waited for the 2015 Firecracker red. Can't wait to see it. But my wife says I need to venture out of my comfort zone, and I think the Billet will look sick once I'm done building it. Well done may not be the right term being we all know you're never done on a jeep but you get my drift.

Your Rig is looking sweet Coz! It's amazing how much nicer our Jeeps look after we tweak them for a bit. Stock Jeeps just don't look right anymore. :)
