Driving a Manual up Rocks??

I'm not sure if your 2013 works the same as my 2007, but you may want to try out these features.

1. When starting in 4 low, just start the jeep with clutch out and in first gear. no reason to jam it into first without the clutch. Get used to doing this and you'll be more confident using this when you actually need it. Plus you'll stop freckling out all your automatic friends who just happen to walk right behind you when you start up and roll back a little.

2. When in 4 low, my jeeps computer will adjust to keep the jeep from stalling in most terrain without touching the gas. As soon as I press on the gas the feature disables.

These 2 features have helped me in becoming a smoother driver off road

Lol. That was pretty amusing. I didn't watch it with sound becuase my one year old is asleep next to me but the look on your daughters face says it all. Glad you got it out of there.

Ended up hand cranking it out with a chain hoist that some guys that lived down the road happened to have in their garage. Plus side... it took almost no effort to convince my wife to let me purchase a winch after that. :thumb:

Ha I bet. Maybe I need to do something similar to convince her to let me get the winch plate to reinstall my winch. :D
