I'd seriously look into this as well. Don't know anyone who has one but $2,500 seems damn steep to me.

Steep like OMFGod I can't believe it costs that much to get a garden variety replacement transmission. I've never shopped for one for a JK but it sure seems like a lot of money to me.
If you can get something better for a few hundred more I would do it.

I've seen people off a whole motor with auto trans for $1100, of course there wouldn't be one available in this price range when you actually need it

Yea I seen trans with the engines for 1500 but this's was 2 months ago.
We'll the girl from PB certify told me that she needs to send the trans to another shop so they fix it, but she does not know the price, I told her can you give me a estimate? She was like no more than 2500!
Doesn't Motech have a bunch laying around? Thought I saw some in a pic from when Moby was there. Might call and see if they'd part with one.

I would put a new rebuilt one in for that price. Or shop around. $2500 seems rather high.

Tomorrow they will tell me the final price and if it is tf estimated number I will tell them to get a new one or a good used one.........

Not going to lie wen I saw my rig like this and after they told me the estimate price I almost tear up! I think I drop 1 or 2 tears lol

Yea today they tell me the final price.
2500 was a high estimate.
If it is that high I will buy a new transmission
