Evo Tire Carrier Adjustment

Are there any modifications that need to be done to the rock skins to get the ORO lights to fit?

My shop did it but yes...need weld a tab in to the hole in the evo skins

I love my carrier! If you look at the three holes on the carrier you will see the middle one on both sides has my white led for reverse lighting!

Is that a receiver rack? Holy Cow!! That thing sticks out there a mile.

Yeah it does... It's a big rack and then I got the 12" extension so I get the full use of he entire rack since some of it was covered by the carrier! I love it and I can fit two giant white coolers on the back for beach parties and camping! Lol

So is there any good way to adjust the vertical play in the carrier? I'm thinking of getting this carrier and don't want to have to lift it 2 inches every time to close it. I've seen the way genright makes theirs has an ovaled hole on the top join where it connects to the body, but I don't know if I'm a fan of that design if it were to come loose.

However, it looks like the johnny joint adjustments on the evo carrier can only pivot the top or bottom out horizontally (which would be great for keeping it rattle free) and there isn't a very good way to adjust vertically. Am I wrong?

2inches of sag is a lot and whatever the sag us its no big deal at all. Remember it is hinged on pass side so anything u are lifting is not heavy ur hard to do

My wife has no issues opening and closing it. She can even manage to hold her purse at the same time.

Serious answer, these do not have much adjustment once installed. The key is to install it correctly. Lifting is really minimal to closing it.
