It's that time of year again! The Jeep Go Topless Day events that are held annually all around the country are fast approaching and for all of us living in the northeast there is no better place to enjoy them than Backwoods Farm in Rumney, New Hampshire. For anyone unfamiliar with the area, Rumney is located in central New Hampshire approximately 5 minutes outside Plymouth and 30 minutes south of Lincoln. Though the company All-Things-Jeep (http://www.allthingsjeep.com/go-topless-day.html) has been sponsoring Go Topless Day events around the country for 7 years now, this will be Backwoods Farm's 2nd time hosting it for all of us north-easterners. I can say honestly and without hesitation that Backwoods Farm puts on an event that is second to none and has blown away every other Go Topless Day event I have attended in the northeast in the past 4 years.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVENT:
The admission fee is $15.00 per vehicle, which you can purchase prior to the event online via Paypal (http://www.backwoodsfarmnh.com/apps/webstore/products/show/4410444) or at the gate on the day of. They will also be raffling off products from many leading 4x4 companies. Raffle tickets will be sold for $25.00 at the event throughout the day and prior to the event online via Paypal (http://www.backwoodsfarmnh.com/apps/webstore/products/show/4446063). Any and all off-road vehicles are welcome to attend and ride the trails, though Jeeps of all year/model ranges will be the dominating force of the day. Backwoods Farm has really pulled out all the stops this year by expanding their already lengthy trail system, modifying their rock garden, and extending their 165 ft. mud trench they fittingly named, "Muddy Road." In addition to the amazing wheeling, there will be tons of off-road vendors, a variety of food stands, an RTI ramp for flexing, an on-site petting farm, and carnival games and rides for the little ones.

PERSONAL TRIP INFORMATION:
Though last year I had an amazing time driving up the day before the event and heading home right afterwards, I've decided to make a little vacation out of it this year. My family and I will be heading up to New Hampshire from Rhode Island on Thursday, May 8th and staying until Sunday, May 11th. We've decided to stay at Woodward's Resort (http://www.woodwardsresort.com/) in Lincoln, which is right next door to Whale's Tale Water Park and The Flume Gorge in the White Mountains. This will be our 3rd time staying at this hotel and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about it. It is very clean, conveniently located, has indoor & outdoor pools, a duck pond, delicious breakfast packages, and is priced very competitively. I would enthusiastically recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay while visiting the White Mountains or surrounding areas. Most importantly, it is a mere 30 minute drive from the hotel to the event in Rumney. While there are certainly many hotels closer in distance to Rumney, we decided not to gamble with our weekend and stick with the place we have enjoyed twice before in the past.

FINAL SALES PITCH:
Whether you're someone driving a stock rig or someone running 40 inch tires with 4 inches of lift, the trails at Backwoods Farm will provide tons of enjoyment for Jeepers of all levels. Every difficult obstacle on the trails has a go-around, so if you're a bit more timid off the pavement then you have nothing to worry about. All that being said, if you're someone who is looking for a challenge, you certainly won't be disappointed either.

I truly hope to see every Wayalifer from the northeast at this event. Whether you choose to wheel or just to hang out and enjoy the day, I can assure you that you won't be disappointed with the day Backwoods Farm has planned for everyone. If you definitely plan on attending, are on the fence, or just wanna talk about it, feel free to drop a post below and get this thread going. I'll be keeping an active list of who will be attending right here for everyone's convenience. Thanks for taking the time to read this novella and I look forward to chatting with everyone on May 10th in New Hampshire!

Go topless day but all the jeeps have tops on. Am I missing something?

No, you aren't missing anything. It poured all morning and most of the afternoon last year. Only the brave went topless all day. Still had a really great, all be it, slippery day.

Also, early May in NH is much different than SoCal. Overnight/early temps can still be in the 20's with high temps sometimes not getting above 50.

I went to this last year as well. If the weather is nice I may be up for a drive to NH. Ya the weather last year wasn't that great. I'm sure the day would've been much more fun if the sun was out. Would be cool if they have more trails this year and more people showed. Again, I think the weather put a little damper on things. It down-pored off and on all day.

Yeah, totally true. I heard they're trail system is much more expansive this year. Hopefully we'll get lucky enough to have a nice sunny day too!

This sounds fun. I have to do some research to see if a weekend trip is possible!
