Crappy EVO tire carrier knock off spotted at KOH

Those cute gussets aren't close to the Evo ones. Hopefully the customer doesn't think they are getting the same quality.

I tracked these down on another forum and some people mention "look like EVO" but no one calls them out. Total BS. They don't even have a website just some guy and a shop. It's not as if they are that much cheaper than EVO, and I'd rather go with the exact original that's running KOH on EVO1. Mel doesn't put out shitty stuff, he runs everything on his race rigs. That's field tested right there!

I appreciate people with skills to build things they dream up. I don't appreciate people making knock offs. Actually, I despise people who copy a marketed product. IMHO...they suck donkey dicks.

Be creative yourself, or pay someone else for their creativity, but don't rip people off.

This "knock off" sucks and so does the person who made it. It doesn't even have adjustable ends.

geez,someones got a sandy vag.

:cheesy: I'm sorry, you are right. It's totally ok to wait for someone else to spend the time and money to develop a new product, put it into production, market it, and sell it...then just copy it because you are too cheap to pay someone for their efforts and/or you lack the design skills to come up with something on your own. Hell, why stop there? We should just do away with patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights, and any form of intellectual property. Then we could all buy/build/sell knockoffs of anything we wanted. We could also change the name of our country to New China.

:asshat:

Our nation is largely founded on, and funded by, entrepreneurial spirit and enterprise. Take that away and the country will crumble.

By the way, I saw you driving your H3 in Reno the other day...sorry to hear about your cat "Spike Meister."

Off topic but looks like this carrier is making it's way to other manufactures. Total abomination tho.

I could be wrong, but that^^^ looks similar to GenRights Builder carrier design thats been out for quite a while. They sell them to be modified for YJ's, TJ's and JK's. Never seen one on a truck though

I want to post a link to this but it belongs to a GM Forum that I am on. After reading the thread, it is their "truck owner's" fabrication. They are building a truck for SEMA 2015.

You can't possibly be that naive, can you?
