Hey guys...thought I would post a question for all you guys in Texas. A move to the San Antonio area in the fall of 2014 is in the works. I was wondering where places to wheel are? I currently live in Colorado so I am hoping I don't go into shock when I get there from lack of places to crawl. Thanks for the help.

There are two official places. Never been, but one is in Marble Falls, it's called Hidden Falls and the other is in Mason and called K2. Hidden is 85 miles from San Antonio and K2 is 3 hours from San Antonio. I'm wanting to make a trip sometime this year, I've never wheeled so it should be interesting

Well sorry to hear you moving back. Texas sucks compared to colorado when it comes to trail options. We have no public land use spots or trails like there are in colorado. Your probably gonna hate it. Sorry bro. Texas sucks compared to colorado.

Colorado is a great place and I take a yearly trip for a week. Texas wheeling cannot be compared to wheeling on the trials of CO. You will miss it but you will get a taste of many different areas/types of wheeling living in TX. There are lots of parks around and they all seem to have very different terrain, so while they aren't the same as CO you should still have plenty of fun and learn some different skills than what you might use in CO.
You'll probably have more trouble adapting to the heat and humidity than anything.
Texas is a great place and San Antonio is a really cool town, I'm sure you'll love it once you get over the culture shock! :yup:
