Found this on a website advising to keep the engine "stock" for offroading. They posted this as an example of aftermarket parts gone wild :icon_crazy:

I would guess a fire of some kind. Does anyone know what may have happened here?

Holy cow!! I'm surprised that the whole Jeep didn't burn to the ground!! :shock:

i would want to say that it was a fuel leak that on the exhaust. look how even far away from any electrical wires are melted, not enough stuff around there for an electrical fire to get that hot with out added gasoline.

Only 14k on the clock:
The customer reported he had been driving manual transmission for years and NEVER had a problem; this CLEARLY is a manufacturing defect.👎
