What Would You Do??

I would never ask a friend to watch my dog for 2 weeks, that's how you lose friends as you found out. I would also never leave my dog behind. We brought our dog with us on our 1,000 mile xmas trip in our car but, that's just us. I also would have not told the airlines it was a pit bull if I had to fly the dog. Maybe next time put her in a shelter if you can't bring doggy along. Also leave it to Overlander JK to get it wrong and think you gave the dude $1500.00 bucks to watch the dog.

Eat a dick.

Funny you cry and complain when I say stuff to you but yet you do the same. And just a tip for you, when you put the $ sign you don't need to type bucks after. The $ sign means dollars, bucks or whatever else you want.

Careful he might send his hooligan sons to "bead your azz".

I was just playing but you can dish it out but can't take it. By the way, I put bucks there so you would understand ! LOL !

I actually drafted a contract for my dog-sitter. Not that I don't trust them, but rather to provide guidance as to what I was expecting of them. With $1500 on the line, I would be extra catious.

I would look into boarding next time as well. I hate to not take my two dogs along, but somtimes it is better to board them. Plus, at a good boarder, they will get to socailze with other dogs, and some of them even have medical staff on hand, should anything happen.

As for having the dude be on your shitlist becuase you are his boss, be careful here. You can't terminate him over what happend outside of work, and as you said, he was/is your friend. There could have been any number of factors as to why the dog went all over the sofa. Try to get the whole story from him, and see what actually happened.

I'm guessing CA isn't a right to work state. Here in TN I can spin that law in a way that I can fire someone because I don't like their hat.

Anyways, I would get the guys side of the story. You never know what happened. Maybe he'll accept the fact that he didn't do a good job and only take the first half. Just remember it could have been worse
