NEWBIE RUN: Last Chance Canyon Dec. 7th.

Looking forward to this weekend! :thumb: There are a couple of things I want to bring up. If you are meeting us at Bravos and you are going to get something to eat there, please be there early and ready to roll from Bravos at 8am sharp. Also, you will want to make sure you have lunch and plenty of water for everyone in your Jeep.
If you do not have e-discos please make sure you bring wrenches and zip ties for your links. Also you will want to air-down so please bring at minimum a tire pressure gauge to release the air. There will be people to assist you if you are not sure how to do this.
Lastly, I am adding the requirement of a spare tire. There are always a few flat tires on these runs and you will want to be prepared. :yup:
If there are any questions please post them up.

I wanted to add that there's no bathrooms out here so you need to bring a shovel and TP. Please either pack it out or bury it. With 40 people TP can be a issue being left behind on the ground.
It can a long day with this big of a group, bring plenty of snacks. :twocents:
Thanks.
Going to fun.

Im coming from santa clarita so im going to be meeting you guys at the trail head, does anynody know if there is a gss station near the trail head so i can fuel up before the run

If your coming up the 14 you can fill up just north of mojave off of California city road. Otherwise you would have to drive past the trail to Johannesburg.

Edit: JeepFan beat me by a second.

Jawbone does sell gas but be prepared to drop some coin for it.

Rockyjk, if your coming over 178, drop into Ridgecrest. There is a group of us meeting at Starbucks at 0830 and will head to the trailhead at 0900. PM me if you want to meet up so I'll know who to look for.

Keep your head low and your powder dry.

Keep an eye on the weather everyone!

Heard on the local radio station news that we are in for some possible weather Saturday. Might even get snow with a high of 47! Could make for some fun huh! Hey I got a coat and a heater, no problem for me!!

I just noticed that you added this. I don't run a spare but my buddy does, and I think the chances of us both getting a flat with our tires are pretty slim, plus I always carry 4 cans of the green glue that seals tires (This stuff actually works really good). Am I good? Guess I should have spent that $2500 on black Friday on a rear tire carrier and spare rather than A new Stinger, Winch and light bars!

As long as you got a spare you can rely on that’s up to you.

I'm not scured, I have Triple AAA 100 mile towing as well (Don't know if they would go out there though?. Looks like I will need to get a spare on this thing before I do my long arms! I thought I was done putting 20k+ in vehicles when I sold My Vettes?

Anybody driving up from South O.C.?
