Feeling out your significant other about jeep mods.

Solution to this problem - get her her own jeep then your only problem is trying to get the JK catalog back from her :D

Just have her drive 80% of a tough trail while you have to get out and guide her while dragging over all the rocks and she will say "start building" quicker than you think! Especially when it is a 3 day Rubicon trip and you are barely bigger than stock and she is tired of driving!

I don't understand this problem you guys are talking about. When we couldn't find Commando Green she said, "we can cover it in tan bedliner when I am bored with white". Here she is installing fog lights and grill mesh last weekend when we swapped out bumpers. I think I have a winner.

I couldn't let mine do that. I'd be too temped to be behind the wheel with the engine running:screwy: ( and much less time consuming than Overlander's divorce idea ):D

We are Jeep..Resistance is futile..

Go on trails with a large group and point out how this jeep or that one isn't scraping the skids the bumper etc. that worked for me; although she knew I would not leave it stock. after a run at Gold Mountain in Big Bear I made a point if showing her every rig with coil overs and now I am in the process of getting everything.

My lady is a buy once kind of person which kind of helps. She told me that when my stock tires died I could get 35's with one stipulation. I had to get steps as well. So with her wanting steps and being a buy once girl i was easily able to talk her into the evo weld on rockers.

Another thing that really helped me enjoy the delivery of my tires was that her ktchen aid mixer arrived the same day so she was nice and distracted.

Being a 2 door loving to camp and having 2 dogs is also reqlly helping me to convince her that we need the lod rear bumper with the trail rack and rotopax mounts :D

my ex always supported when I would order anything, just got mad when I would spend a lot of time installing mods, yet id ask her to come just hang out and keep me company since i normally work alone. Now that im single again I just have to ask my wallet if its okay to order parts lol.

I'm pretty swift when it comes to ordering mods, I usually order what I want, ship it too my garage and it patently waits to be install the next time my girl leaves the province for a work related event. So far this year, each time she has gone away, the jeep Orangegasmer has been lifted by the time she returned. Once with a 1.25" body, then 35s and 16" procomps and most recently, 3.25" RC lift, which I told her I was ordering because I said "it's cheaper to install a lift than it is to replace a ripped off fender!" :) But, I had also told her it was a 1.5" BB i ordered, not a 3.25" coil lift and shocks and adj. track bar. She new right away when she came home it was higher than 1.5" but she loves it :) She's awesome!

LOL! Sounds like something I would do. So, I found a large nail in the sidewall of all places in one of my tires...means no repair, but replacement. So went to tire place had the guy come out and coached him to walk over to the side so my wife could hear him say "Yeah, looks like you need a new set of tires". She yelled out something that sounded like "bullshit". So I'm on the hunt for a single tire at the moment!:cheesy:

I'm currently tryin for a 50" led light bar for Xmas and a 4.56 gear set but all I'm getting is, " wait til after Christmas and then you can get what you want!" She knows I hate waiting and she's waiting for me to slip up and buy them soon! It'll be an excuse for her to get her hair dyed or a shopping trip to Winnipeg for her lol!

Pretty lucky I guess. If the Jeep needs something she tells me to just get it. Problem is she generally finds something that the camaro "needs", lol
