Just submitted my video in the GoPro Studio 2.0 contest. They are giving away a MacPro and a bunch of their gear to the winner. Anyone else got a video in?

Thanks guys. The templates do make it a lot easier. That's kinda the point of the contest. You pick a template and load your video clips into it. The music is already there and the clips are limited to the same length as the original so the cuts match the music. I was just happy to have at least one video that YouTube allows to be played on mobile devices. It was also a great excuse to finally make a video of my rig's "greatest hits" over the last year. It's funny for me to see all the upgrades and changes I've made in that time.

I am so bummed to be missing the doorless/topless run this year. Have a blast and make a video!
 
No voting, they just pick a couple. I think there are only two winners. First I believe is a MacPro and "everything they make" from GoPro which is a Hero 3 Black plus all the backpacks and mounts. Second is the everything they make package. I'm actually getting ready to get another camera. Rumor is they will release the 4 in October with image stabilization and a video mode that is better than any tv I'll have this decade. We'll see but they did just drop the price of the 3's a lot.

Don't know how much vid I'll get of TLDL. We are starting at 6 this year which may give me a half hour of daylight. The Hero 2 sucks in low light. Hurry up and get Knuckles out here. Good times are being had without ya.

Be sure to go to SEMA. GoPro was giving $100 off the Hero 3's last year. You just had to sign up while there.

I'm working on my trip down there. Last year it was easier because I was there for weeks at a time. This year I'm just coming down for a day or two each week. But Knuckles will make a trip this year for sure. :thumb:
