Damn G...sorry man...that's hard to look at. What a beautiful ride.
In 1976 at 9 years old, I saw the movie "Gumball Rally" with that Shelby Cobra in it and knew thats what i wanted. Worked my ass off until 2005, bought it as a gift to myself when I left active duty. Drove that thing cross country PHX to NC, PHX to Reno, PHX to Sturgis, raced it (road course & drag), daily drove it in all seasons. Aside from jeep's (especially my EVO rig) I have never owned another car that was as much pure enjoyment to walk out to, get in, start up, and just exist in!
Oh my dear lord! Obviously your ok so I will skip that part and go right to the depression of what occured to that fine machine! :grayno:
Yep, walked away from it. Surprisingly, I was never really depressed. I LOVE all things Motorsports, if I own it I will use it! No trailer queens for me. It's, just paint, metal, and rubber. I will own another, I promise you
@ gcm 2 - those pics, I have seen those before somewhere....I want to say tv but not sure.
Hmmm? Don't know about that. I try to stay out of the media, especially when $110k was involved.
