yea if it wasnt paved it was at least concrete which all ramps are now adays

I agree the boat launches and the road to them are usually paved, it said they drove off the pier which is the dock. even if they did drive down the boat ramp my first point is that they were driving too fast for the conditions is still valid.

conceding that I should have looked at the photo more carefully yes there is no peir there There it is just a boat ramp
