Show Off Your Guns!

I was finally able to source a original WW1 BAR forend and stock for our OOW BAR A3. My son did a WW1 doughboy impression over the Christmas break at Greenfield Village.

Also, I was able to replicate a WW2 "in theater" modification by certain Marine units with a vertical foregrip for added stability for our WW2 Marine impressions. Thought it came out well.

A couple of photos from the Ohio 2025 Re-enactment he was part of for a Marine Pacific event.

Cleaning it takes a lot of time. Hahaha

Such a fun gun to own and shoot.

So looking for advice on suppressor. Been thinking hard lately on getting what I need to have a suppressed pistol for the house. Not looking for anything hitman quiet, just trying not to deafen everyone in the house if I have to fire. Looking at this https://www.eccomachine.net/product/canine/

I like the price because I won't have a huge budget on this.

I'm new to the suppressor game but I learned a lot afterwards. Some trial and error, research, etc. 1st, some suppressors are not recommended to be used with supersonic ammo. In a defense situation, I would want supersonic ammo. If you do choose subsonic, a lot don't produce enough combustion to force the slide back. So you get one shot and manually have to rack the slide. Do a lot of research before buying.

Rather than consider price, it may be best to find good reviews on suppressors that do well with the gun you already have.

From the ones I've shot with subsonic and supersonic ammo, the suppressor definitely quiets the noise enough where ear protection is not needed in my opinion.

The one I linked has a lot of good reviews from what I've come across. Looks like it states it's been tested with subsonic so be something I'd have to reach out and find out. I hadn't thought about that so o really appreciate the advice.

I run a Banish 45 on my 9mm. Is it the best out there? Probably not. But I like the versatility of calibers.

I have shot both subsonic and supersonic. For my set ups, supers far outperform the subs. In fact, about every 5th round of subs created bizarre harmonics that would throw the round close to 8 feet high (no joke) at only 30 yards.
