Have you looked into TIPM rebuild service providers? requires you to send it in but if you're not driving it, may be a faster repair

Yes and I was able to find one on eBay. The problem is neither will be cover under Chrysler warranty as well as if they are not remanufactured properly then they are worthless.

Chrysler subs them out for remanufacture; in my experience, once out of mileage warranty, their claims of warranty are as worthless as the paper they hand you... been there too many times.

Friend referred them after he had his repaired; the rear door locks failed on my 2010 so I sent it in for repair, happy with the service, 1 year warranty but it's been well past the 1-year mark and still working.

Thank you for that reference...it is very much appreciated!! I may try them if the turnaround is quicker than getting the remanufactured one from Chrylser...currently, February 26th with the possibility of further delays. How did it take for you??

It seemed fast, you could also do a swap, buy one and send in your core for core charge refund but the 26th isn't that far off - if they don't push out the dates.

I'd call them to get a better idea of their current time frames.
