Terrible storm. View attachment 437592
We have the same snow wise but now it feels like freezing rain and ice pellets coming down n top of it. Glad we got rid of our large animals. I don’t envy you having to go out and get them hay and making sure their waters not frozen.I'd trade in a heartbeat. 12-18" of snow is a pain in the ass to deal with having animals.
Is it done there? That ice on those trees looks pretty nasty.Minimal snow, couple inches of sleet, and some ice. Much less than forecast for our area of East Texas.

Meh, I’d rather have the snow. Dog loves its, sheep couldn’t care less, pigs have fun, chickens hate it though.I'd trade in a heartbeat. 12-18" of snow is a pain in the ass to deal with having animals.
We’re on the tail end of the precipitation, I don’t think we’ll get much if any more. The ice has caused power outages in the area but nothing catastrophic. Is it done there? That ice on those trees looks pretty nasty.

lol Tractors in the garage with the flat - had to kick Mrs Gruff out. Gruff hibernates til the salts gone from the roads in spring or they get washed off real good![]()
hmm... Gruff looks like a badass, but he's all snuggled up cozy warm out of the elements, now we see who the real badass are
soooo... when push comes to shove, the Mrs. gets the boot, does your wife read these threads? where are you sleeping tonight?lol Tractors in the garage with the flat - had to kick Mrs Gruff out. Gruff hibernates til the salts gone from the roads in spring or they get washed off real good
Oh for sure but I don't leave my house or need to often and don't see that amount very much so I like it. If you asked me 20 years ago what I thought about a foot of snow I would tell you to shove it. Couldn't wait to get out.Up to 8" I'm ok with (yeah yeah). Getting over a foot at once is a pain to deal with at first.
