Two way radio or cb

I have CB and GMRS.

I believe the cobra classic CB is like $140 through right channel radios, and the BaoFeng GMRS was like $75 through an Amazon link that I believe @wayoflife shared on here a while back.

Point is, it’s not too cost prohibitive and both setups can fit in your jeep pretty easily.

I tend to find myself wheeling with different people all the time so it’s nice to have both.

I have that exact one. Works great, cheap, and easy to program to tune in to different frequencies. Have even used it for FM radio at campsites.

Like others have mentioned, get whatever your friends have. I have CB, GMRS, and VHF/UHF since I've been wheeling with a lot of different people over the years. Nice to have all those so you can go out wheeling without worrying about comms. That Baofeng is a great place to start.

baofeng, easy to program or as easy to manually select the channel.

I have Rugged Radios and the Baofeng bf-f8hp, Baofeng for ease-of-use win,

Luckily, the rugged radios are baofeng so batteries are interchangeable.
