The article/opinion-piece fails to address the type of mortgage fraud that James is accused of. Surely, the severity of the crime is related to what someone actually did (or did not) do, as well as their intent.

Indeed, recently there have been a rash of claims that a primary residence was claimed to be a secondary residence to lessen the lending interest rate. But some of these claims were invalid since properties were currently undergoing a change in status (e.g being swapped as primary/secondary), or actions had been taken, but not yet recorded. Details do matter!

Dude - Google it - these stories are all out there and what she and others did is well documented - this article was to address what her dumbass defense strategy is
