I am new to this forum and am signed up for the event. My brother is flying down from The 51st State and we are driving there from San Jose. Planning to arrive Saturday afternoon for tech inspection and bbq. On Sunday we will do the easy run of bald mountain. I drive a yj and love off-road camping.

Awesome! Glad you can make it and will enjoy the area if it's your first time. We will be on different trails but may catch you at base camp Saturday night or in the town of Shaver.

Well just DAMN!
I’m scheduled to get stitches out of my thigh first thing in the morning, then I was headed up to the Poker Run immediately following. Got a call from the shop that has my Jeep while ago and they informed me that they are having to order more parts.
Had an awesome truck, had it lifted in February, it has driven like shit since and has spent a total of seven weeks in the shop during that time trying to get rid of death wobble.
Was really looking forward to drinking, I mean wheeling with you fine folks. And meeting ones I have yet to meet.
Y’all have a helluva time and be safe up there. The evacuation areas are creeping very close to Bald Mountain. 0% containment currently.
