SHIPPING SILLINESS

If it’s jeep parts they leave them by the driveway but if it’s expensive electronics they shotput them over the gate onto my front porch. As expected that was fedex, multiple times they will pull up by the driveway and kick them off the back of the truck and leave, if the ups guy comes by later he will grab them and move them up by the gate out of sight thankfully
 
I’m sooo pissed right now. Silliness isn’t the word I’d use to describe what happened. Over three weeks ago I ordered a new tent for my off road trailer. Was promised it would be delivered to Bend, OR- where I was going to buy it- within the week, because they always do. Was supposed to go pick it up the following Saturday, a week later. However, the shipping company lost the paperwork so it sat in Seattle for a week and a half. I was promised several more delivery dates that never came true. Finally it made it to Bend on Wednesday, a few days ago, but it’s been sitting on that company’s dock since. Was supposed to be delivered yesterday, and now today. WTF!

Update: It was finally delivered to the shop on Saturday with a huge hole in the box which apparently caused damage to the tent. Haha. The shop ordered a new which was delivered Wednesday, only three days. Crazy.

Bought the ikamper 3.0 regular. We’ve been using our CVT for 5 years and it’s nice but damn, is it a major pain in the ass to set up and take down. The tent is primarily for Robyn but since I’m the one that has to deal with it, I wanted the 2 min setup/take down that the ikamper provides.

Update 2: Drove to Bend to pick it up on Saturday… long ass 10 hour day. I just kept saying to myself, no delivery fee, no sales tax, no setup fee.

Guy set it on my flatbed with his forklift. Unfortunately, I was tired and didn’t notice it was on the shipping pallet upside down. So it was bouncing around from Kent Washington, to Bend and then to my house, upside down, resting on the fiberglass shell. I’m not touching it any further until I talk to the shop and Ikamper. Luckily I had Robyn video me unboxing it. What a total cluster.

I've been thinking about getting one of these. Since it's just me, I've been going back and forth on getting the 3.0 or the 3.0 mini

For one person the mini has room for a sleeping bag and some gear- two people can sleep in it but there’s no room for any gear. The regular one is essentially a king size so there’s plenty of room for a party. 😂
