Suds of the Day

Vacation. Hitting a bunch of places my dad took us to as kids when he had an old Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. It's his turn to ride shot gun and my turn to drive. Plus he is passing on wheelin' knowledge since this is my first 4WD vehicle I have owned.
 
No banquet going on for sure, but part of the fun of staying where we do in Maui is that food/drink gets passed off from one person to the next as people arrive and leave. We've been drinking free tequila all day and tonight I'm going with some of the rocky mountain's finest.

Nice, I've been getting my wife into Ciders as well, I always have to try them to see how they are. Definitely interesting takes on what some breweries define as a 'cider'.

Visiting Rhode Island, this was the best I could find at Legal Seafood with dinner. Later I met up with a couple friends from college and tried a flight of "local" east coast IPA's and an amber from Newport Storm. All decent, nothing memorable

I never even heard of cider until the aircraft carrier I was on went on a booze cruise to various ports around Europe. Stuff is everywhere in France and Italy. Strongbow is on tap everywhere there and luckily I've found a few stores that carry it here.
 
Revolution brewery "bottoms up" organic wit. Nice Belgium style beer for a hot humid day.

Literally got home from our Maui vacation minutes ago. Found this little gem waiting for me in the fridge. Taking the edge off a long day of travel.
