Well between the bad news of two flooding incidents with My mother in laws house in Argentina and my 2K WJ Limited needing Lots of work (just lost the rear end, didn't get the end seals done fast enough and it's gotta get the diff fixed now :gaah: ). The thoughts of a 2013-2014 JKUR are gone. I may be able to find a 2007-2011 sport unlimited on the cheep so the JK dreams are still alive. But it will be in Sport form with a :icon_crazy: 3.8 ...
 
At least you will still be getting something you want. Has more opportunity to fine tune it just the way you want to do it. But if you really want the JKUR though just keep waiting and save more. It may save you more $$ in the long run.

You could always get the 3.8 now and later look into an LS swap or other. Just a thought.

hemi/ls swap would be on the radar , definately. the minivan engine is not much more horse power than my Scion xB stock, and the jeep is a hell of a lot more to push around...
 
Ballon is getting patched. It will still not be a Rubi, but probably a 2013 left over. the only, now biggest issue will be finding a 2013 in commando green, a color not offered for the 2014 model, so no ordering from the 2014 models, and I checked with teh dealer, there is no more ordering the 2013.

Definately wanted the Commando, and the choices for 2014 are limited to 5, Silver, Black, Blue, Tan, and rock lobster red. If I can't get a 2013 commando it will likely be a 2014 tan.. I'll just have to go with the desert camo setup rather than the green based :). was going to do a sticker package to make it look like a Military jeep, with the military codes referanceing the 75 year aniversary dates...

The wife is finally on board, we took a test drive in one this past saturday and she loved it..
