So i'm ready for my upgrade from Unlimited Sport 2012 to... now i don't know what.
Originally i was set for 2023 Willys S with XT package, but it's not that easy to find it so i called dealership and they told me it's too late to order in that configuration bc 2024s are coming soon. So yesterday i found nice 2023 High Tide (very good deal with bunch of discounts) and was ready to pull the trigger and now Jeep dealer called and told me orders for custom 24 available and he can place one for 24 Willys with XT package. After comparing pricing on both, 24 Willys will run about a grand more than 23 HT, out the door.
So my question for the community: Is it worth to wait 4 months for 24 Willys XT just bc it's 24 and "re-designed" or just go with 23 HT tomorrow?
In configuration i want the only deference between the two is headunit. I think... ) And personally i don't like new 24 headunit. It's not "built-in" into dash but more like "attached tablet" style, it's oversized for what it is, sticks out on the right end leaving empty space between unit and the dash (for all the dust to be collected after running trails ?) and bc of it's size Jeep got rid of big round air vents on the driver and passenger's sides and placed two narrowest mailbox-like slots under the headunit. Not even sure they can be pointed high enough to get the air to my face.
