Arrived in Monticello just in time for dinner. The town sits on the east slope of the mountain and has a great view.
Stopped here for Tacos al Pastor. Yeah, I love me some Mexican food.

Unfortunately they had an issue with their liquor license.
Luckily I brought my own.
I have Land there,
Drove that way about a month ago. From Albuquerque through most of Arizona, wind was brutal. The wind actually popped open one of the soft top latches twice on the JT. Average mpg dropped from 13 to 9 within several hours. Sucked. Stopped for gas in Gallup and got sandblasted while pumping gas.As I drove toward Amarillo TX the wind picked up.
Damn, there were times when the wind blew so hard I had to accelerate to keep my speed at 70 going down hill!
I fully believe the 60 mph gusts. I was crazy windy all the way to Albuquerque.
Steel or rubber damage? Can you line lock it?So I get off the trail and roll back to Moab. I head to the gas station to fuel up and I notice the brake pedal is a bit mushy.
Once I got to my cabin I did a walk around of my Jeep and discovered this.
