As much as I’m a metalclock hater I did buy their skids. I was in a hurry to get them as im leaving for a 2 month trip in a week and they had them in stock. They are beefy as hell though and cheaper that any others. The fit and finish is impressive also.
Metalcloak makes some good things. Just not springs. Their skids are really good. Damn good looking 392.

It was good. Had to trim the pinch seam a little more for the 38’s but that’s it. I will definitely be getting a stiffer spring because it’s definitely too soft with weight in it. Road was perfect thiugh

yes this picture was taken at punta Colorado which is the rooster fish capital of the world!
Where’s the pic of the rooster fish? I’ve fished for them about forty miles north of Cabo on the east cape…

Well the 392 is back in the shop for a few upgrades after the long trip to Baja. Decided the stock springs are WAY to soft so got some Clayton Offroad HD springs. Also doing a fender chop with the quake LED smoked kit.

Let me know how you like the HD springs. I installed them on the front of our diesel Gladiator and really like the results. I’m considering putting them on our 392 so I’d like to get your thoughts. Thanks!
