Clunking noise

Just got my 16’ JKU back from the shop. There are some things we need to adjust but I’m excited to just have it back and driving it. Getting parts really delayed this build.

I ended up pulling in an Evo long arm kit with king shocks. We did dyna 60 axles as well. I love how this Jeep has turned out so far…. However…. There is a clanking sound coming from the rear drivers side… I think.

Under light load and and small bumps there is a clunking sound like metal against metal. My first idea it’s coming from the springs. Could the coil be too loose and it’s clanking against something? I’ve had someone just on the tailgate and I’ve gotten under the jeep but I still can’t pinpoint the sound.

Has anyone ever ran into anything like this. Any ideas what it could be? I’m kind of at a loss.

I’m assuming you did rear coilovers? They are fairly noisy when first installed. mine sounded like a hay wagon they will quiet down the more yo drive it .

Like squeaking or like metal clanking against its self? Maybe it just needs to swear in but seems off. It may be coming from both sides but seems not on just the driver side read.

Double check that the spring ends are clocked 180 from each other check the gap on the cross over rings . Then take it out and make them work they will quiet down .
