Well, here it is, the engine that will be replacing the V8 HEMI or at the very least, the 5.7L. Stellantis is also saying that the High Output (HO) version is supposed to deliver more than 500 hp/475 lb.-ft.

I assume that 1500 series Ram pickup lovers can kiss the 5.7 goodbye. I have doubts as to whether they will ditch the Hemi in 2500 series pickups, yet. I’m sure they will eventually.

I’m betting they will dump the 5.7 in the 2500s all together and just offer the 6.4.

I wasn’t aware of the 5.7 in the 2500. I’m sure it will be awhile before they ditch gas burners in Heavy Duty trucks.

I could be wrong but I think it’s still an option in them and the power wagon has the 6.4 standard. Again… could be wrong.
