JT PSC system

Looking for feedback from Those of you who have installed the PSC system on a JT, or even an JL. How “tight” does the steering feel, how responsive, does it eliminate chance of death wobble? Debating on doing the kit that expands to the ram or maybe going all in, does that make a big difference in terms of everyday driving with or without the ram? Any help would be great!

I have it on our JT but with the ram assist. Steering feels tight and with the ram, there really shouldn't ever be a chance of DW.
Good deal, haven’t driven a jeep with it before, and thinking I’ll make the jump here soon. Need to look at what it will take to mount the ram on factory axle.

Having just installed the PSC Adventure Steering Kit on a JT running 38's, it definitely improved the steering in tightness and ease of steering. Even the customer noticed the difference right away. This Adventure kit does include the ported Big Bore XD steering box so adding a ram after the fact is pretty easy but of course doing the ram right off the bat is always nice so you don't have to mess with it again. It's not crazy hard but just be prepared to change out the passenger side motor mount that's included with the kit.

Thanks for the feedback, I’m pretty mechanically savvy and I’ll probably have my dad help so it should be easy enough to install. Might be better to just do it all at once to get the max benefit

I say just do it all at once and be done with it and get the most out of it. They recently updated the kits so all of the lines are pre cut with almost all fittings pre installed and labels on each fitting telling you where it goes. Makes it all pretty straight forward.

I need to check your website but do you sell these?

Yes we do HERE. There is a kit for OEM axle/tie rod that includes a bolt on bracket for the ram. If you have aftermarket tie rod and/or wish to weld on your own taps, you can use the "aftermarket front axle" kit.

If you don't already have a Tazer, you will need one to disable the electro-hydraulic pump.

Thank you sir! Oem on both, have a tazer already, nice I can just bolt that on, keeps it simpler for now

Great info, thank you for creating the thread. @benatc1.

This helps out a lot since I’m still trying to figure out what direction I want to go for axles stay on SF and 38’s or move to FF. At least the adventure kit will allow me to build up in stages since it’s ported and I can add the ram later.

Absolutely. And definitely go full float if you are already spending the money 👍🏼

any thoughts on if i need to upgrade the draglink if i go this direction? My factory one seems fine, but will upgrade if needed to a synergy, I don't want to buckle the factory one with increased torque from the box

Me personally, I would say yes. I installed both and a Synergy tie-rod all at the same time.
