Hahaha these memes are out of control. I’m in Ontario, Canada. Essential services are pretty much the only things open. I’m locking myself in the JLUR and cruising by myself today.

Dr Drew statement was from early February when it was essentially just in China, before spreading to 84 other countries . Was also flagged as inaccurate and dangerous by several orgs

Shutting down businesses and isolating is obviously shit for the economy and an unwanted outcome by anyone but inciting sentiment that the press is blowing this out of proportion just gives idiots and spring breakers more reason to be out spreading it . Faster we contain and can move on the faster economy starts back up and we can all stop feeling the fall out

I have to say that it cracks me up to hear what people in different parts of the country and socioeconomic status have to say about what's going on. Where I live, life feels pretty normal and most everyone I've talked to roll their eyes at what they see on TV. And, I should note that this is in spite of there being 2 confirmed cases of this china bug in my town. I recently drove out to a town further to the east and honestly, you wouldn't even know anything was going on at all. Now, whenever I talk to people who live in places like California or any big city across the US, the world is coming to an end.

I beg to differ. It’s raining here. World as we know it is over.
