What's your view like at work?

My last one from January before coming home for a month off. Afghanistan isn’t so ugly once you cover it up with fresh powder. [emoji38]

Nice view.

It could pass for somewhere in Nevada. I bet there would be some good wheeling there, if the natives were a bit friendlier.

That one may actually be NV, hell I’m not sure now. [emoji38] I may have taken that pic or I may have snatched that one from somewhere to use as a background. I’m not sure now. It does look like the range to the west of the base I work at. Here’s another from the outskirts of Kabul.

That’s crazy. There better be one hell of a view from that spot.

I was pretty shocked it was not spectacular, the better view was the place across the street has glass garage doors and what looks like a very nice cj inside from the road. I’ll find out this summer

It's amazing some of the dumbass places people build awesome houses. :rolleyes2:
IDK, I think some people just like to be seen having a huge spread. If I had those kind
of resources to spend on just the pilings, my house would be somewhere hidden that no one
could see. I like my anonymity thank you very much.

I was just talking to someone about this yesterday. A house around here sold for close to 3 million and it was crammed into an area with hardly any land, right in the city, surrounded by other houses. I just don't get it.

Doing a lake cottage on bad soil. All the green dots are pilings drilled into the earth. They were in 80k in pilings before the foundation even started

I don't know about you but that tells me I shouldn't build a house there maybe? People with more money than sense though... Hopefully it's a good view!

Edit: Hahaha, seems a few other members shared my sentiment. Just read up the rest of this chain!
