King Coil Overs and AGM sliders? Help/ Advise

Hope this helps. The front is behind the bracket so it's hard to get a good picture. Front upper: <img src="http://wayalife.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=146833"/> Rear upper: <img src="http://wayalife.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=146830"/>

Yes, thank you! That is exactly what I was looking for. I have the same exact setup even with the new King sliders and my rears have a tendency to squeak like crazy and often.

I had heard they were coming out with one. This image shows one with a long skirt on top like the AGM ones. (Borrowed from Genrights website.)

However I can not find it anyplace for sale. The link to Genrites site takes you to the AGM ones. (maybe some kind of prototype?)

The only image I can find for the Billet Nylon Coil Slider appears to look just like the current sliders. May be the answer for adjustability reasons.
These nylon ones are standard on the Pure Race series but an option on the Performance series.

So what is a "Composite" coil slider made from?
The ones in UtiAdams video sounded like Aluminum on Aluminum.

Thanks upnover I am going to look into those. I can live with 18ea. if it quiets them down.

My main concern is wear, second would be the noise. I know it would drive me nuts if it sounded like that video did. :icon_crazy:

You can buy these from the genright site

Interesting that the bottom is longer vs the AGM is longer on top.
So what's the consensus? I just installed mine the front make a little noise but the rear make all kinds of racket.

He doesn’t come on here anymore. He got his feelings hurt.

Me personally, I don’t see the need to buy the amg sliders. The king ones work perfectly. Give them time to settle and make sure everything is adjusted right and tight. My sliders don’t make a sound

Good advice. After a closer inspection I need to add washers in the back because I could move the shocks by turning them and that was making noise. Gonna work on it today so ill report back.
Also, this upgrade put me in the poor house for a bit. Lol

Question, how tight should the upper rear bolts be? And how many washers can I run? Is there any movement in yours and can you turn rear coilover by hand?
Thanks

I never added washers. Just running the spacers that we’re provided in the kit. I believe the instructions give you a spec. If not just German spec it.

When I installed it it was missing the washers at least gold ones so I didn't install them. I was also missing the lower silver spacers in the front, 2 of them. I really wish Evo would label each screw package. That being said I was able to figure it out and the directions were better than I thought. Luckily I was able to talk to Drew at Evo and he really helped a lot. As I had to cut battery box on passenger side should I be worried about water fording? If I'm asking too many questions let me know I just want to get information from people who have experience with this set up. Thanks.

Lol the only stupid question is the one never asked ;)

Yea they should be able to send you the spacers (evo mfg not off road evo) since you never received them.

Yes you do need to trim into the battery box a bit. No you don’t have to worry about water fording. If anything whatever water gets in there will drain out easier.

So now I made a drain too? Lol woohoo
I think I'll call them Monday had to cut a piece of pipe for the front lower spacer. I'm gonna go by ace for washers I've seen gold ones there.
