Looks good! Got to check the JL out at the LA Auto Show. Will be following your journal. Good to hear an owners and real jeepers opinion.

Glad to hear you'll be following our JL Journal :thumb:

Nice job on the video! My wife has a grand Cherokee a lot of those features made it to the wrangler in the JL and your right the 8 speed with a 3.6 makes the engine seem much more powerful and responsive. Great job showing the features!!

Thank you, we're glad to hear you enjoyed the video

Congrats. It's way cool. If I did not need a truck and building a 2015 JKU I would be after the JLU. Thanks and enjoy....

Thank you. Nothing wrong with your 2015 JKU. Great Jeep to build up :yup:

Great video as always. Glad to hear your impressed with the JLs handling.

Thank you and yes, the handling and ride comfort is surprisingly nice. :thumb:

Nice video! I’m enjoying following along. Love the feed back, Alex has the grand Cherokee with the 3.6 and 8 speed and it’s pretty peppy. Just need her to trade it in for a JL now lol!! Also the real question is, has Tessa been allowed in the JL yet???

LOL!! As a matter of fact, our rear seat pet cover came in yesterday and so yes, she has been riding with us now :D

I was ambivalent about the JL at first, but it is such a vast improvement over the JK that I feel that I just have to have one. Not sure when that will be, though. I'm liking it; thanks for the ride-along.

LOL!! Take one for a test drive and you'll want one even more. Glad you enjoyed the video

It seems way nicer on the highway

No lie, it feels way nicer than our Renegade did stock or at least, in our opinion.

Great video and that bonus at the end was priceless [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

LOL!! Glad to hear you watched till the very end and didn't think it was too silly

Nice Video, And one thing you pointed out to me in previous video of you guys buying it is the dash would grow on me, Now that you pointed out in this video of it being like the CJ's your right made my mind open up more. Since got a CJ7 sitting in the driveway right now so easier to grasp the look lol. Thank you for sharing.

that was a nice review, thanks for keeping the pressure on in wanting one!! it's killing me lol

But I'll keep watching and feeding the habit :thumb:

My clients are all out the rest of this week so I've got idle time on my hands, since the weather is crap here, I may go for another test drive

I agree on the visibility, the windows and rear all seem slightly larger than even the 2015 - which are slightly larger than the 2010.

It must be the slant of the front windshield but even in video the visibility seems better as you don't see the top of the windshield like you would in a JK.

Great video! I'm actually liking the JL more than I thought I would each time I see a review.

Great to see you & Cindy enjoying your beautiful JL! I appreciate your critique of the jeep. When I chatted with the Jeep rep today for the daily update on my build, I got awesome news - it is built & ready to be shipped to the dealer!

Great video. The JL really seems like an evolution in luxury especially with you making sure your heated seats and steering wheel worked. (Where is the snow in Tahoe?) My wife's cherokee has the stop/start and although I don't mind it much of the time, it is horrible when pulling up to a 4 way stop, pulling in your garage because it shuts off then when you put it in park it starts back up just so you can shut it off again, bad for pulling out in traffic and many other things. I got tired of disabling it whenever I get in so I pulled the sensor from under the hood so it thinks the hood is open. This disables the stop/start all of the time. I can't wait for what else you guys do with your JL as I wait patiently for the time when I finally purchase mine.

You know, it was hard for us to say for sure being that we're running a sport bar in both our JK's but both Cindy and I felt like visibility was better out the windshield too. We just left that part out due to us not knowing for sure what the reason was.

Thank you , can’t get more honest review them this one :)

Thank you, we appreciate it. :yup:

[emoji91]Awesome![emoji91] I need one of these in my life! Come on lotto! 🤪

Oh yeah, I think you'd love it :thumb:

What you need to do is go for a test drive - you'll like it even more. Believe me. :yup:

Way cool. I’m loving it, already.

LOL! Awesome

Awesome - congrats to you :clap2:

I had to be content to test drive one around St. Louis; I like YOUR test drive a lot better (LOL)!

LOL! It is nice out here

Hmmm, now you've got me wondering

Thanks for the video. Looks like a good ride to the rocks. Nothing wrong with comfort.

That's the way we see it. Being that we spend so much of our time in our Jeep, might as well be as comfortable as possible :yup:

Awesome video, I test drove a JL Rubicon with the 3.6 at the local dealership and was so tempted to buy it on the spot. But I wanted to wait until I can test drive the 2.0 turbo and the 3.0 diesel. Guess I will have to wait until next year before I purchase.

LOL!! From what I've been told and from people know, the difference between the 3.6L and the 2.0L isn't as much as one would think. For the $3k premium, I personally wouldn't hold out for one. As far as the 3.0L diesel goes, that might be a different story. But, if it really is that awesome, we can always trade up :yup:

My wife will divorce me if I purchased a 3.6 only to trade up to the 3.0 diesel within a 1 year time. I am so tempted to get one now but I'll just watch and follow your post until I see when you trade up to the diesel engine ;)
