Lol, I have no idea about the coke thing. I though the engine thing was bullshit at first but after seeing so many fucked up junkyard engines used for swaps, I understand it. I’ve gotten very low mileage engines before and had to send them back because something was fucked up internally.

Yup, happened to me with a transmission on my LS swap. I specified a new crate motor thinking it was going to be a new engine and transmission. I found out after months of issues that the trans was a “low mileage pull out”. Worst experience getting that dealt with. It’s worth the price to buy new if you are going through all that work to swap.
