New Idea for a Ram Mount Location with pics

Had an idea come to me while I was installing my alpine head unit it actually came out pretty damn good and it is real solid.

Thanks all, Here is a few more pics, if i make the plate a bit wider it would provide enough space for 2 additional screws which would provide more lateral support and I can even fit cross bracing which would provide support for something along the lines of a tablet.

Great execution... Just curious how close the devices are to the shifters? Interference with changing gears/transfer case would be my main concern with that location.
