I am a complete Newbie. I bought my 2019 Wrangler JLU in March and have been slowly (as I have spare money, lol) buying the essentials- recovery gear, tools I didn't have, first aid kit, etc. I went out on a run with a group on a basic forest road, so nothing really challenging. And that was good because I needed to get used to it. I was happy it already had quite a few add-ons, although I'm not sure if some of these came standard when it was bought new:

I have been watching a ton of YouTube videos, and I appreciate Wayalife and the others' willingness to "teach". I'm not really into rock crawling as I'm retired on a fixed income, and I've seen how stuff breaks, lol! But looking forward to getting out on some trails in the Mojave desert and Big Bear here in Southern California and maybe run into some of you. I got my first "Duck" left on my door and was quite excited about that. I have since bought my supply and have also been paying it forward. Happy Trails!
