Got my 2012 in

Finally got the 2012 in... You just can't go wrong... So far I love everything about it except the stock height... The Fulltraction 6 inch lift is about a week or so out.. Rims and Tires are on backorder but should be in by the 10th or 11th of Dec. Lockpick will be in by the end of the week. I'll do a step by step for the lockpick and lift as the parts come in...

I think it's time for me to consider a lockpick as well. I kinda like the idea of somehow finding a way to mount a camera facing down forward from the front bumper area. Good luck with the install.:yup:

Love the Jeep. How long did it take you to get it in? I ordered mine and according to VOTs and the dealer, it is in the delivery stage. I'm just wondering how long I'm going to have to wait. I offered to drive the six hours to pick the Jeep up, but the dealer said the factory won't release the Jeep to me even with papers. Now I have to wait :grayno:

It took mine 3 weeks to get here from Toledo. I'm in Bakersfield, CA. I would think yours would be quicker

It's been almost four weeks since I placed the order and in the VOTs system, it says it's in shipment. When I asked the dealer about how long do you think it would take to get here he said he didn't want to give me a definitive answer because they had ordered a truck and it only took a couple weeks to get through the system, but then it took over four weeks before it would be delivered.

I sure the heck hope it doesn't take that long to get it shipped. They aren't even that far away. They don't ship by train anymore, but buy truck.

Well I finally got the call...My Jeep is in; however, I can't get it tonight. The dealer apparently has to do an inspection on it and some tests before they can release it to my. So that mean's I won't get it until Monday.

But at least I know it's not going to be over four weeks or something like that. I think the entire process took about three weeks total from ordering it to actually receiving it.

I'll post some pictures tonight of it before all the upgrades are put on.

Glad yours finally came in Zeddjb, welcome to the 2012 club... I think mine and ChrisB's went a little faster cause our dealers told them we were special people ;-). it was funny on the vot system mine went from being scheduled for production to being ready to ship... they didn't post the steps in between. So far the only complaint that I have is on the six speed manual, If its going to stall, there is no saving it, no matter how quick you get the clutch in. And 4th gear pops out if you don't completely commit. I'm used to the B&M short throw shifter so that could be my 4th gear problem, unless any one else is having it??? Hornet.. Nice Dozer as well. I wish my wheels and tires wern't on backorder....Mine feels naked

Does anyone know if the soft top I have for my 2009 unlimited will fit my 2012 unlimited? I would imagine they are the same?
