Did This Guy Get A 2018 Jeep Wrangler Hood Way Before It Goes On Sale?

I would not get my hopes up. Remember bumpers, sliders, mounts, racks, cages, and skids for a TJ do not fit on a JK.... being realistic almost non of those will work on the JL without modification.

TJ to JK is not a lateral move. CJ to YJ is closer to what the JK to JL will be like.

Something isn't making sense....the JL is supposed to have a more raked windshied and front grill....a raked front grille should SHORTEN the hood, not lengthen it.:thinking:

Depends on the length of the Cowl between the bonnet and windscreen.

I recently read that the new front end is a bit longer to accommodate the 8 speed, which would explain the longer hood.

I think, based on these teaser pictures from Chrysler, this hood can't be for the final version. Because the final version doesn't have the hood latches or window bumpers on the hood.
