That's awesome. Glad to have given you a reason to look under the hood again. Looking forward to your Install pics.

I will also post pics of what and where I put my twin compressor.

That will be a bigger project than my single one. Interesting to see how you do it.

This is the simple bracket. It fits in the corner up against the firewall on the steering side. I'll post a pic of the install after x-mas.

Ok, I know the title says "besides under the hood", but for "me" under the hood is the best location, and here's a photo of the finished bracket I made. It's made of 2mm stainless folded on front side for strength, with rubber pinch seal on the back edge to protected the hoses next to it. 2012-12-22 11.20.34.jpg .
It bolts to the hole in this. 2012-12-22 11.22.45.jpg
And bolts to these 2 holes I drilled. 2012-12-22 11.23.45.jpg
Job done, waiting for wiring and locker solenoids to be installed. I hope it gives someone wanting to do the same some ideas. 2012-12-22 13.07.32.jpg

Nice install. That's actually a good spot.
Good work with the bracket as well.
Yeah I'm really happy with it. Thanks again for prompting me to have another look under there. How's your twin comp going. Now out to have a look at putting on this wayalife wind shield sticker.

My project is coming along nicely. I will post up pics as soon as I install it.

Thanks guys, I was going to use it for air tools as well as airing up plus lockers, but not enough air to run tools so I'll be adding a second head unit as to not burn it out and to be able to use tools :)

As the tittle says...2 gallon Viair tank, 1 high output arb compressor for now....
